She’s buttoning up
Those nude photos of Carla Bruni are coming back to bite her in the ass yet again as they are now being used by a French Fashion House for the design of a bag. And what’s the best way to respond? Litigation of course!
Granted, I can understand they are using her likeness without her permission and that is reprehensible considering it is for profit but at the same time, for a woman considered so open about herself, would it not be easier for her to remember what she said just a few months ago?
She considers nude pictures by photographers such as Helmut Newton and Steven Meisel works of art. “They’re great artists,” she says, adding, “Plus, I have a body that would allow me to pose nude without being very provocative.”
If it’s a work of art, then should it not inspire fashion?
